I made this image to symbolize how Professor Yankwitt will possibly be when she repeatedly explained how she didn’t want her class to get concepts that superego, ego, and id is about the devil and angel that sits on your shoulder. Instead, she wants the class to understand that Freud explains those concepts as three main powers that dependent on each other. Although I can’t explain the concepts clearly, I can explain that the superego is your self conscious of being aware of your actions based on societal views. Id is your desires and wishes being complied and is being kept in the “dark” on your mind. Lastly, the ego is the balance between those two and is your conscious for reality.
