Annotated Image 

    When I came across this image, the first thing that popped up was the short story called “A Rose for Emily.” It reminded me of that story because even though Emily didn’t threaten people with weapons, she showed signs of being mentally unhealthy. Which caused her to kill another human being. And because she presented signs but the surrounding people ignored her, I believe the caption in the image matches perfectly with the story. But it could be possible that the duck’s “wand” can be a reference to the arsenic that Emily bought before.
